What better way to warm up on a cold day, then with some mulled wine. Read on for this very easy recipe.
Usually in December, I enjoy going to the Distillery District for the Toronto Christmas Market. Shopping, food and best of all, warming up by the fire with a cup of mulled wine. Sadly this year the Christmas market won’t be taking place which means if I want mulled wine, I’ll just have to make it.
Ingredients:

- 750mL bottle of red wine (dry)
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 5 cloves
- 4 cardamom pods
- 3-4 slices of orange
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 whole star anise
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
