Chiffon Hemming Technique

Who doesn’t love a light and flowy fabric like chiffon? But how do you prevent the ends from fraying? Well read on!

Whenever I’m at the fabric store, I always gravitate towards the chiffon fabrics. In my experience, everytime I start cutting the fabric, the ends start to fray. More recently, I found a great video that taught me how to roll my hems to prevent they fraying!

You can find that video here by clicking on Wonderfil Threads

I’ve heard that a serger would be a better choice, but I don’t sew enough to justify getting one. When I used the rolled hem technique, this is what it looked like.

And this is a pic of my finished project!

If you want more details on how I made the best feel free to send me a message!

Take care and thanks for stopping by my blog.
