Holiday Decor Tips

Christmas always creeps up on me so fast every year! Before I know it, I’m one of those battling the crowds getting my last minute shopping done. Last year I was sifting through the M&Ms bin at the Bulk Barn collecting only the red and green because the Christmas M&M bin was empty! This year things will be different as we are headed to Tampa, Florida to be with the whole family! There’s going to be 10 of us flying out on Christmas Eve! Talk about deja vu to Home Alone!

So because we are going away, I didnt want to go all out with decorating but at the same time wanted to still feel the spirit of the season. If you’re like me and are looking for some simple things to decorate for the holidays, keep on reading!

As I was unpacking my Christmas decorations, I looked around at some of my new decor and thought I’d jazz up these empty frames!

Candy canes. Always a staple. I took out the flowers from the vase and replaced with these. These candy canes are pretty large too!

Can’t forget Olaf! If you have any plush winter themed stuffed animals, definitely put them out.

This is one of my favorites. Putting out seasonal scented soaps! Bath and Body works is famous for their insane collection of winter themed and holiday themed hand soaps. I picked up Sparkling Icicles.

I thought this was too cute and had to pick it up!

So even though there’s no tree in my home this year I loved being thrifty and simple with my decorations! The count down is on to Christmas!
